CHRISTIANS VERSUS THE WORLD!

You are a member of a team. This team is called the "Church"! Have you ever thought about it in this way? It is true. There is a contest going on....a combat...between two sides. And you as a member of the Lord's team have a responsibility or accountability to other Christians to be what you say you are and to take strength and courage from them, but also to provide support for them by helping them to be strong and by prayer, petitioning God to bless their lives. Let us look briefly at just a few scripture about our accountability to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

All of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another, love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
1 Peter 3:8-9
Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
James 5:16
Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Philippians 2:4

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.
