Things that will NOT save your soul:
1. Church membership
2. Church attendance
3. Baptism
4. The Lord's Supper
5. Keeping the Ten Commandments
6. Doing the "best you can"
7. Obeying the "Golden Rule"
8. Lodge membership
9. Good works
10. Almsgiving, saying prayers
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8, 9).
There is only one way you can be saved.
Jesus said, "Ye must be born again (John 3:7).
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).
"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Rom: 10:1; Acts 2:21).
"He that believeth and is baptize shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned" (Mark 16:16).
"Repent,..and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 3:19)
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from al1 unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE
"Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).
"It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement" (Heb 9:27)
"Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3)
"What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and loose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36)
There is no middle ground! You are either saved or lost! And it is possible to know you are saved now!
Oh, Father God in heaven! Before you created us you planned on saving us, if we would just confess the name of your son, Jesus, as our Lord and Savior. We do this now, Father. We ask Jesus to come into our lives. All hail the holy name of Jesus! Amen!
